I have over ten years of experience writing health and medical stories and press releases for print and web distribution. I am currently interested in the changing health care landscape, "parenting on the edge," affordable housing, living wages and green/sustainable living.
I have a Master's in Public Health, with a focus in health communication. I spent several years working for the Louisiana Office of Public Health and then six years as assistant director of public relations for private research university in Southeast Louisiana. My focus there was on health, medicine and public health. I am passionate about helping people get the information they need to make healthy decisions for themselves and their families.
